For Sale yearling filly Warda Bint Shuwaiman. Warda (Arabic for Rose) is a delightful, athletic filly who should grow to around 15 hands 2" at maturity. She would make an ideal Endurance/ Ridden/Dressage mare with the combination of Crabbet and pure desert blood. A very attractive filly her final colour remains a mystery! I hesitate to call Warda grey, she was born roan and on losing her foal wool the under coat was steel blue with a satin sheen that turned silver in the sunlight!
At Four Days Old
Her bloodlines are a combination of Crabbet and Bahraini so she would also be an interesting broodmare prospect for the Crabbet enthusiast (see Articles Page... Crabbet and the Royal Stud of Bahrain). Her sire is an Intermediate Endurance stallion and we intend to continue his Endurance career in 2006. Due to being so much in demand with the ladies during 2005 we missed a lot of rides!! Her dam is pure Crabbet and was purchased as a wife to the Bahraini stallions at Pearl Island.
