5 year old gelding (unbroken) 15 hands (just)

I have for loan (can be permanent to right person) a 50% Bahraini gelding named Medraar. He is nephew to Al Reeh Janoob and Shuwaiman Al Bahrain. His Sire is the French Arabian race horse Chndaka and his Dam is a pure Bahraini mare Shuwaimeh Bushra. I bought Medraar as a two year old with the idea of letting him grow on and then racing him. However, since I am no longer racing my horses and have switched over to endurance riding Medraar is surplus.

He does have a problem! When I got him home on the day I purchased him I put Medraar in a stable and he immediately began to crib bite and wind suck. The solution is he lives out in a nice warm rug in winter and a field shelter and the habit stopped. He's a lovely chunky lad and like all my Bahrainis he is kind and affectionate. I don't want to sell him in case he gets passed from one owner to another and falls into bad hands as is often the way with horses that have a problem. I think he would make an excellent Endurance horse being very laid back or if anyone wanted to have a go at Arabian Racing he is bred to win.

Bottom line is he needs a kind, knowledgeable permanent home and not another summer expanding his waist line!
