Rodney SOLD

Babies in their new homes

The first foal to arrive at Pearl Island Arabians in 2008 is another fabulous reg. part bred Arab colt foal from the combination of Bahraini Stallion Krayaan Dilmun and Madame Jolie.

Krayaan, Jolie and their son at 24 hours old

He is stable named "Rodney". As the weather has been chilly for April Rodney very sensibly made himself a nice warm bed in the straw.

Like all of our foals Rodney is brave and curious and within 24 hours of birth he is eager to make friends.

Rodney soon discovers friends are very useful if there is an itch you cannot reach for yourself.

Could you scratch a little higher please?

Born on 14 April 2008, Rodney is a big chunky colt who will be liver chestnut like his dam. Sure to make 16 hands + he is bold and loveable. His dams breeding is 7/8ths TB and 1/8th Connemarra (Jolie is a good 16 hands) and his sire is a 16 hand pure Arabian stallion from The Royal Stud of Bahrain. As we have so many colts Rodney will be for sale at weaning. He would be ideal for anyone looking for a slightly "bigger all round" Endurance prospect.
